Flooding in capital Ankara following afternoon rains injured at least six people, according to provincial governor Saturday.

"Six people has been injured, but their health condition is not serious," Mustafa Tuna said.

Heavy rainfall in Ankara's Mamak district caused the flooding, which also swept away several cars along the streets.

Prime Minister Binali Yildirim was briefed by the governor on the situation.
